Tina M. Cline
PSYCHOTHERAPIST - Ph.D. Candidate, LISW-S, CSAT, CPTT, EMDR
I believe every person (and every relationship) is capable of growth and change.

As a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) and Certified Partner Trauma Therapist (CPTT), I specialize in working with individuals navigating sex addiction, pornography addiction, and partner betrayal trauma.
I am especially passionate about supporting individuals who are willing to engage honestly in the recovery and healing process, even when the work feels difficult, emotional, or deeply personal. Meaningful change often requires facing painful truths, developing greater self-awareness, and learning healthier ways of relating to oneself and others.
Together, we focus on fostering deeper self-understanding, rebuilding trust within oneself and the coupleship, and creating lasting, meaningful change.

My specialties include sex addiction, pornography addiction, and partner betrayal trauma. I work with individuals and coupleships navigating the impact of addiction, betrayal, trauma, and relational disconnection—often during some of the most painful, confusing, and emotionally overwhelming periods of their lives.
My approach is recovery-focused, trauma-informed, and grounded in helping clients move toward greater self-awareness, honesty, accountability, and healing. This work is not always easy, but meaningful change and recovery are possible with the right support, structure, and willingness to engage in the process.
In addition to individual psychotherapy, services may include formal therapeutic disclosure, partner consultations, and recovery-focused conjoint sessions when clinically appropriate.
I also incorporate EMDR and other trauma-informed approaches to help clients process difficult experiences, strengthen resilience, and move forward with greater clarity, connection, and emotional stability.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a Master’s degree in Social Work, and am currently completing my Ph.D. in Social Work with a focus on addictions and advanced clinical practice.
My professional background includes experience in community mental health, residential treatment, advocacy work supporting survivors of sexual assault, city government, and corporate settings. Together, these experiences have broadened my understanding of human behavior, trauma, and the diverse challenges individuals face throughout the healing process.
As a psychotherapist and the practice director of Atlas Counseling and Wellness and The Recovery Connection, I have focused my work on developing specialized, recovery-oriented care for individuals navigating sex addiction, pornography addiction, and partner betrayal trauma. Over time, I have come to deeply value the courage it takes for individuals and coupleships to face difficult truths, begin healing, and work toward meaningful change.
With advanced training as a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) and Certified Partner Trauma Therapist (CPTT), along with additional training in trauma-informed care and EMDR, I am committed to providing thoughtful, recovery-focused psychotherapy that supports meaningful healing, deeper self-awareness, and lasting change.
